Vision For A Nation (Volume I, Rethinking India Series)

Samruddha Bharat Foundation (SBF) and Penguin India’s first volume “Vision for a Nation: Paths and Perspectives” edited by Prof. Ashis Nandy and Prof. Aakash Singh Rathore was launched in Delhi. Vision for a Nation is the first amongst the “Rethinking India” series, a set of fourteen volumes that re-imagine current socio-economic and political paradigms, and propose innovative ideas to further India’s promise. The series includes contributions from over 140 of India’s foremost academics, activists and policymakers across party lines. 

The book was launched by: Shri Hamid Ansari (former Vice President of India); Dr. Manmohan Singh (former Prime Minister, GoI); Shri P. Chidambaram (former Finance & Home Minister, GoI); Shri Sitaram Yechury (General Secretary of CPI-M); Dr. Shashi Tharoor (former MoS for External Affairs & HRD); Prof. Mridula Mukherjee (Series Editor, Rethinking India series); Dr. Syeda Hameed (Series Editor, Rethinking India series); Ms. Milee Ashwarya (Editor of Penguin Random House India); Shri Gurdeep Sappal (Executive Trustee, SBF); and Shri Pushparaj Deshpande (Managing Trustee, SBF & Series Editor, Rethinking India series).
