BOOK LAUNCH - India’s Tryst with the World: A Foreign Policy Manifesto

Organisers: The Samruddha Bharat Foundation and Penguin Random House India organised the launch of “India’s Tryst with the World: A Foreign Policy Manifesto”, edited by Shri Salman Khurshid (former External Affairs Minister, Government of India) and Shri Salil Shetty (former Secretary General, Amnesty International) and published by Penguin Random House India.

“India’s Tryst with the World” is the 11th book in the Samruddha Bharat Foundation's “Rethinking India” series, which is a set of fourteen volumes that reimagine current socio-economic and political paradigms, and propose innovative ideas to further India’s promise. The series includes contributions from over 140 of India's foremost academics, activists and policymakers across party lines.

The book launch featured a panel discussion on India’s foreign policy, followed by keynote addresses, featuring speakers including: 1. Shri Hamid Ansari (Former Vice President of India) 2. Shri Shivshankar Menon (Former Foreign Secretary, Government of India) 3. Shri A.S. Dulat (Former Secretary, Research and Analysis Wing of India) 4. Ms. Supriya Shrinate (National Spokesperson and Chairperson (Social Media), Indian National Congress)
