Constitution and National Unity Convention – 2024

Samruddha Bharat Foundation, in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka, the National Law School of India and Institute of Social and Economic Change hosted a two-day international conference titled ‘Constitution and National Unity’ on February 24th and 25th, 2024, in Bengaluru, India to commemorate 75 years of the Indian Constitution. The conference delved into topics related to constitutionalism and social justice and aims to contribute to contemporary conversations on these critical themes.

The inaugural lecture was delivered by Shri Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka; Dr. H.C. Mahadevapp, Minister of Social Welfare, Government of Karnataka; Shri Priyank Kharge, Minister of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, IT & BT Department, Government of Karnataka and the valedictory address was delivered by Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition, Rajyasabha; G. Devarajan, General Secretary, All India Forward Block; D.Raja, General Secretary, Communist Party of India; Dipankar Bhattacharaya, General Secretary, Communist Party of India (Marxist – Leninist) Liberation; Randeep Singh Surjewala, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha; Sitaram Yechury, General Secretary, Communist Party Of India (Marxist); Prof. K.M. Kader Mohideen, National President, Indian Union Muslim League, Farooq Abdullah, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha and President, Jammu Kashmir National Conference Supriyo Bhattacharya General Secretary, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) N.K. Premchandran, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Leader, Revolutionary Socialist Party, Thol. Thirumaavalavan, President, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha Manoj Bhattacharya General Secretary, Revolutionary Socialist Party.
